How Qelvor eSports LLP uses cookies and similar browser storage, which third-party services receive data about your visit, and how you turn any of it off.
Read this alongside our Privacy Policy. It explains the storage side: what gets written to your device and who else can read it.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage does much the same job with more room. Both let a site remember something between page loads — a preference, a draft, a security counter.
A first-party cookie is set by Qelvor and readable only by Qelvor. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose code or service is involved in your visit — and that company, not Qelvor, decides what it collects and how long it keeps it. Third-party cookies are the ones that can follow you across other websites, which is why they sit behind a separate switch here.
This policy applies to www.qelvoresports.com and its subpages. It does not govern Discord, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, X or LinkedIn — once you follow a link to those platforms you are on their property, under their cookie policies.
Stated plainly, because consent is only valid if you knew what you were agreeing to.
Qelvor eSports LLP works with third-party service providers to run this site, host our forms and payments, and measure how the site performs. These providers receive data about your visit — typically your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you opened, and the site or ad that sent you — and they set and read their own cookies and storage to collect it. That data sits on their systems under their own privacy policies, not only ours.
Where such a provider is used for analytics or marketing, its cookies are capable of building a profile of your activity and, for marketing, of tracking you across other websites. Nothing in those two categories loads until you switch it on: your default state on this site is off, and closing the banner without choosing is treated as a refusal.
Every provider we use is named in the table below, with what it receives and whether it sets cookies. Section 04 is the authoritative list and is updated whenever a provider is added or removed.
Every cookie and storage item on this site belongs to exactly one of these. Three of the four are yours to control.
Without these the site cannot do its job, so they run without consent — the law treats them as essential rather than optional. All of them are first-party and stay in your browser.
Improves the experience but is not required. Involves a third party: our typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, which sees your IP address in order to serve the font files.
Third-party measurement. When enabled, the provider sets its own cookies to collect data on how the site is used, and we read it in aggregate to fix what is not working.
Third-party advertising and social platforms. This is the category that permits cross-site tracking, so it is off unless you deliberately turn it on.
The authoritative list of third parties involved in a visit to this site. Reviewed whenever the site changes.

Qelvor eSports LLP is the data fiduciary for this site.
We rely on your consent for functional, analytics and marketing storage, and on legitimate operation of the service for strictly necessary storage. Consent is requested before any optional category loads, is recorded with a timestamp, and can be withdrawn at any moment without giving a reason.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. Visitors in the EU or UK may additionally rely on the GDPR for access, portability, restriction and objection. Write to qelvoresports@gmail.com and we will respond within the timelines the applicable law sets.
Consent records are held in your browser for up to twelve months, after which we ask again. Third-party providers set their own retention periods; those are governed by their policies, which are linked from the Privacy Policy.
This policy may change when we add or remove a provider. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and a material change re-triggers the consent banner.
The Privacy Policy covers everything we do with personal data beyond storage. The Terms govern entry fees, tournaments and prize money.
Choose what Qelvor and its third-party providers may store on your device. You can change this at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
Keeps the site working: your support-desk drafts, abuse and flood-control counters, security checks, and the record of this cookie choice. Stored first-party in your own browser and never sent to an advertiser.
Remembers display preferences and loads the site’s typefaces from Google Fonts. Turning this off does not break the site — text falls back to a system font.
Lets a third-party measurement provider set cookies to collect data on how the site is used — pages viewed, session length, device and browser type, approximate region and referring source. Used in aggregate to improve tournaments and the site.
Lets advertising and social platforms set cookies to measure campaigns and show you Qelvor tournaments elsewhere. This is the category that enables cross-site tracking, so it stays off unless you turn it on.
