Qelvor SMP
The official Qelvor Minecraft server. One survival world, one community, and nothing between you and it — no entry fee, no application, no whitelist. The world is open in beta — the address is on this page, and you log in.
The World Is Open — In Beta
Qelvor SMP is live as an open beta. The address is below, joining is free, and there is no whitelist and no application. Beta means the server keeps hours and the world is still being shaped — read the panel underneath before you log in.
No port to add. Type it exactly as shown — Minecraft finds the port by itself. If you saved one of our older addresses, edit that server entry and put this one in its place.
What The Beta Means Before You Log In
- The server keeps hours. Qelvor SMP is up from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM IST, every day. Outside those hours it is powered down and Minecraft will say it cannot connect. That is the schedule, not a fault and not a ban.
- It does not sleep. Inside beta hours the world keeps running whether anyone is online or not, so there is no wait for it to start. If it will not connect during those hours, something is wrong on our side — say so on Discord rather than retrying in a loop.
- The map is not final. A beta world can be reset. If the map has to be wiped it is announced on Discord and on this page first — so enjoy building, but do not treat a beta base as permanent until the beta ends.
- The store is optional. The Qelvor SMP Store is open and sells time-limited ranks and coins for cosmetics — nothing you need in order to play. Playing stays free.
- Telling us what breaks is the point. Bugs, lag, a rule that reads badly, a duplication exploit — all of it goes to Discord or to support@qelvoresports.com.
Only Two Places Ever Carry The Address
- This page — the panel above, on qelvoresports.com.
- The Qelvor SMP Discord — discord.gg/YhSunQCnJW. This is the server’s own Discord, separate from the main Qelvor eSports one in the footer, and every SMP announcement reaches it first.
Three Steps, About A Minute
Qelvor SMP runs on Minecraft: Java Edition. If you already own the game on PC, joining takes about a minute — just come back between 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM IST while the beta is on.
Own Java Edition
You need Minecraft: Java Edition for Windows, macOS or Linux, bought from minecraft.net and signed in with your own Microsoft account. Bedrock Edition — the mobile, console and Microsoft Store version — cannot connect to a Java server, and cracked or third-party launchers are not supported.
Add The Server
Open Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server. Put Qelvor SMP in Server Name and play.qelvoresports.com in Server Address. Press Done.
Join The World
Pick Qelvor SMP from your server list and press Join Server. You land at spawn with the house rules in your inventory. No form, no fee, no approval queue. If it refuses to connect, check the clock against the beta hours before anything else.
What To Type Into The Client
The Add Server dialog, field by field. Read it off this page with the game open beside it.
What You Are Joining
A survival world run the way Qelvor runs everything else — same footing for everyone, decisions explained, nothing sold from the sidelines.
One Shared World
Survival mode on a single map. Everyone plays the same world, and what you build stays built.
Spawn Town
A shared hub near spawn with roads, shops and public farms. Claim a plot, bring a plan, build it beside the people next door.
Bases And Crews
Play solo or settle somewhere with a crew. Qelvor rosters and tournament teams are welcome to set up together.
Weekend Drop-Ins
Build contests, minigames and community nights run alongside the Qelvor tournament calendar, announced on Discord.
Backed Up Daily
The world is backed up on a schedule. Griefing gets rolled back, and the account behind it gets removed.
Voice On Discord
Qelvor SMP has its own Discord, with text and voice channels for the server — separate from the tournament lobbies, and linked from the address panel above.
No Pay-To-Win
The store changes how you look, never what you can do — decorative items only, no gear, no crates, no priority queue.
Rules In Your Pocket
The house rules below are handed to you in-game on first join, so nobody has to guess what is allowed.
House Rules
A short list, plainly enforced. Breaking one of these costs you your place on the server. The binding version, with the account and liability terms around it, is the SMP Terms & Conditions.
What Gets You Removed
- Griefing, stealing and raiding. Do not break, burn or take what you did not build. That includes chests, farms, animals and anything inside another player’s base.
- Cheat clients and unfair mods. No x-ray, fly, reach, kill aura, auto-clickers or macros. Minimaps and performance mods such as OptiFine are fine; anything that shows you what the vanilla client cannot is not.
- Duplication and exploit abuse. If you find a dupe or a server-breaking bug, report it on Discord. Using it, or passing it round, is treated the same as cheating.
- Harassment and hate. Slurs, threats, sexual harassment and following a player across sessions end your access immediately. The conduct standard is the one that applies in every Qelvor lobby.
- Alt accounts. One account per player. An alt used to dodge a ban removes both accounts permanently.
- Lag machines and spam. Entity farms, redstone clocks or chunk loaders built to hurt server performance come down, and so does your access.
- Advertising other servers. Do not post addresses for other servers in chat or on signs.
What Qelvor Does In Return
- Daily backups. A griefed build is rolled back from the most recent clean save, not rebuilt by hand.
- Reasons given. A removal comes with the rule it broke and the evidence behind it.
- Notice before a reset. If a world ever has to be reset for a major Minecraft version, it is announced ahead of time and the old map is kept for download.
- No staff advantage. Staff play in survival like everyone else. Creative mode is for moderation, never for building.
This Is Not A Tournament
Qelvor SMP is a community server. It is free, and it sits outside the competitive side of Qelvor completely.
What That Means
- No entry fee. Joining the SMP costs nothing. You pay Mojang for Minecraft; you pay Qelvor nothing to play.
- No prize money. Nothing on this server pays out. The entry fees, prize pools, kill rewards and TDS rules on the Prize Policy page cover Qelvor tournaments, not this.
- No registration. There is no form and no membership card between you and the server. If anyone asks you to register or pay to get on, you are not talking to Qelvor.
- The store is optional. The Qelvor SMP Store sells time-limited ranks, and coins spent on cosmetics — decorative items only, nothing that changes what you can do in the world, and nothing you need in order to play. Coins carry no cash value and can never be cashed out. Purchases fall under the SMP Refund Policy, not the tournament one.
Who Can Play
- You must be 18 or older. Qelvor eSports is for players aged 18 or older, and that applies to the SMP as it does everywhere else on this site. See Children’s Privacy.
- You need your own Minecraft account. Java Edition, bought from Mojang, signed in as you. Shared and cracked accounts cannot be moderated and are removed.
- You do not need to be on a roster. The SMP is open to anyone who follows the rules above — tournament player or not.
- The rules follow you across Qelvor. A ban for harassment or cheating on the SMP is a Qelvor-wide decision, not a server-only one.
Ask Before You Log In
Anything about the server — the address, the version, a rule, a rollback or a ban — goes to the Qelvor SMP Discord for a fast answer, or to support by email if you want it in writing.
